Project meeting #2 29/10/08

We came up with a sample layout that we would like for the different pages of the website. Nearly everyone has their own content ready so its just a matter of doing the coding.We talked about doing html and doing cascading style sheets. We are thinking of doing tabs on the main page but were not sure if itll work out.We were thinking of a layout that would be suitable for easy translation into polish and swahili.

Lab

In this lab session, we decided that each of us will do 6 recipes in
total: 2 desserts, 2 main dishes, and 2 deserts. Last week we decided
what type of food each of us will do, so for next week we will
finalise our recipe choices and create a sample page for each of our
cuisine choices. We decided that our recipes will be cheap and easy to
make, so the students won't be put off cooking. We talked about the
layout of the main page, and the layout of our own recipe pages.
The website itself is informational, we will have the recipes, a
picture of each recipe and some information on that cuisine type. We
will do the website in 3 languages: English, Polish and Swahili. We will
see what everyone will come up with for next week, and make a few more
decisions then.
